A Vagina China Project Update

Since launching our Indiegogo campaign, we have some big news leading to exciting opportunities, international press, and an Awesome Grant to tell you about in this newsletter. Plus, we are taking Vagina China on the road!

 

Recently, our feminist art hero and the "Godmother" to Vagina China, Judy Chicago, invited us to be part of a conversation with Dr. Hana Leaper, and filmed by Jonathan Law at the Brooklyn Museum, Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art, January 16th. We will be discussing the relationship between Vagina China, the Dinner Party and the exciting "discovery" of the 1930's Famous Women Dinner Service...

 

Introducing the Famous Women Dinner Service

It turns out that the Vagina China art project is actually part of a larger lineage of feminist art that uses ceramics and the plate form as a catalyst for awareness and social change.
